Play Poker Hand

Play poker hands gives a strategy about how to play the winning poker hands. Poker hands a major role to be played in playing any poker game. Know more about how to play the best poker hands and also the basics of poker hands here.

Straight Flush

A five-card combination of the same suit in consecutive numerical order. For example (5,6,7,8,9 of Spades). Four of a Kind

Any Four cards of the same denomination. For example (5,5,5,5 of Spades). The fifth card is inconsequential unless two players are tied on this hand.

Full House

A three card combination of the same denomination with any pair of a different denomination. Ties are broken first by the three of a kind, then the pair. Example. 7,7,7 with Q,Q.

Flush

Any five non-consecutive cards of the same suit. Ties are broken by the highest card from the available five.

Straight

Any five consecutive cards of mixed suits. Ace can be used as the highest card or lowest card.

Three of a Kind

Three cards of the same denomination.

Two Pair

Two pairs of two-cards of the similar denomination. If both hands have the same high pair, the second pair wins. If both pairs tie, the higher card wins.

Pair

Any one pair of cards of the same denomination.

High Card

If no other hand can be formed, the highest card held by the player is used to decide the winner.
