Poker Cruises
Somewhere during the fag end of the 18th century, Memphis Balle had this huge craze called River Poker. Sailing through Mississippi the Balle carried famous cowboys, actors, actresses and businessmen who played poker to pass time. This was also the time that saw the germination of the organized game shows. Restricted to a limited audience and participants, Poker tournaments had many entrants, as people wanted to know how it felt to win thousands of dollars in a single go. The organizers usually invited celebrities who would color to the entire cruise. It would also be a boost for the players' ego. And thus came poker cruises.
Now that the game has grown and poker cruises have become more prevalent. Schedules are marked and cruises are packed for a year or two. Theses cruises also add that touch of exoticism to the cruises making the trip all the more memorable.
